Glue Options

Brush on nail glue is included in all Luxury purchases and can be added to any Basic Essential Set purchases at an additional cost.

Should you purchase multiple Basic Essential Sets (up to 5) in a single order & would like to add brush on nail glue, please select the option ONCE to avoid being charged $7.99 multiple times. The amount of nail glue in one bottle is enough for up to 5 sets.

Any orders placed with Luxury & Basic Essential Sets will receive 1 brush-on nail glue (up to 5 sets) at no additional cost.

Please keep in mind we do not offer refunds or cancelations under any circumstances and will charge, pack, & ship your order based on the items selected and purchased during checkout.

IN STORE PICK UP POLICY

We occasionally allow in store pick up and will make this option available at checkout. All in store pick up orders must be picked up by the date and time in your in store pick up notification email. In the event your order has not picked up you will receive a ONE time shipping invoice that must be paid in full within 48 hours of receiving. Should your shipping invoice remain unpaid after 48 hours, your order will be cancelled and refunded in the form of a ShadedbyShanell GIFT CARD OR ShadedbyShanell STORE CREDIT. You will be notified via email of your cancellation and refund.​

Please bring a VALID photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, or State ID) & confirmation email when picking up your order. Should you fail to provide a photo ID, your in store pick up order will be refunded to the payment method selected at checkout. No exceptions.

SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are available to ship within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise stated. Some orders will be shipped same day or within 2-3 business days during peak times (major holidays, etc). We currently ship with USPS and provide multiple shipping options* (We ship to all 51 states in the US, Mexico, & Canada).

Any orders placed on Friday, Saturday and|or Sunday or any U.S. national holiday, in addition to February 6th, will be shipped the next business day.

Though Priority Mail Express is available during checkout, we want to make sure we can fulfill your request as quickly as possible. If a rush order is needed, please send an email to: info@shadedbyshanell.com before placing your order. (Be sure to include: "Rush order" in the subject line) - we cannot guarantee all rush order requests will be honored due to demand and other circumstances. You should receive a response within a few hours; however, during peak times please give us up to 24 hours to respond. If a Priority Mail Express order is placed before emailing us and is not shipped by the time needed, you assume all responsibility for your package - no refunds or cancelations will be given.

ShadedbyShanell is not responsible for your package(s) once you receive your shipping confirmation email - this signifies your package(s) is in the possession of USPS. For any shipping questions, other than your tracking number, please contact USPS directly. If your package is lost|stolen, please contact USPS directly to file a claim. ShadedbyShanell will not contact USPS or SHIPPED on your behalf. We will happily provide you with your tracking number and any additional information that is needed to file your claim. ShadedbyShanell is not responsible for mishandled packages (damaged|opened, etc.,) during transit.

ShadedbyShanell is not responsible for incorrect address input during checkout. We will send your package to the address that was provided to us via your order. In the event your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will send you an invoice for a re-shipment fee of $20 plus costs to reship your package. (These costs varies & are calculated by USPS.) If the invoice is not paid within 24 hours of being sent, your order will be cancelled and your refund will be issued in the form of a STORE CREDIT minus original shipping costs. Store credits do not expire. If a store credit is not available, you will receive your refund in the form of a ShadedbyShanell Gift Card that does not expire.

If your order is delivered to the incorrect address, we do not assume the responsibility of contacting USPS or filing a claim. Please be sure to enter the correct address (apartment|unit number included - if applicable), during checkout.

Any packages returned to us without approval will be returned to sender and no refund will be issued.

Note: International orders may be required to pay sales tax, duty and|or customs charges. All taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges will differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We strongly suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of applicable taxes and customs fees. ShadedbyShanell is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order.

Return|Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. All sales are final & are unable to be refunded.

We are also unable to cancel any orders after they have been placed.

Any packages returned to us without approval will be returned to sender and no refund will be issued.

Restock Request Policy

We are accepting restock requests for any products that are sold out. We cannot guarantee your request will be fulfilled as some products used to create and design certain nail sets are no longer available.

Simply click the "Notify When Available" button  under the product listing to submit your request.

IF restocked, you will be notified via email. (Please allow 14 business days for restocked items to be shipped.)

If a rush order is needed, please send an email to: info@shadedbyshanell.com before placing your order. (Be sure to include: "Rush order" in the subject line) - we cannot guarantee all rush order requests will be honored due to demand and other circumstances. You should receive a response within a few hours; however, during peak times please give us up to 24 hours to respond.

If a Priority Mail Express order is placed before emailing us and is not shipped by the time needed, you assume all responsibility for your package - no refunds or cancelations will be given. 

(Please do not request a rush order before the product has been restocked.)

 

Pre-Order|Bespoke Policy

All of our products are ready to ship, unless otherwise stated in the product title and listing. 

Bespoke products are made to order, exclusively for you. Most, if not, all of our bespoke products are limited edition and most likely will not be restocked.

Pre-order products are products that are in the process of being made but not yet completed. Due to limited availability of our products, we release our most popular or requested products for pre-order. (We also take many other factors into consideration such as any future holidays, seasons, etc., that the product is being released.) 

Some pre-order products will have a special pre-order price for a limited time. This information will be available in the product listing.

Bespoke products can take up to 3 weeks to ship, while pre-order products will vary. We provide estimated shipping dates in the product title & listings. Please keep in mind that the dates are estimated and not a guaranteed ship|delivery date. Due to planning pre-order releases, we typically get all pre-orders shipped before the estimated shipping date; however, some pre-orders could ship after said date. 

Any items purchased with bespoke|pre-order products will be shipped together. If you would like to receive your products that are not bespoke or pre-order sooner than 3 weeks|the estimated shipping date, please place a separate order.

Please keep in mind that all sales are final. We will not issue refunds for any bespoke|pre-order products under any circumstance.

How To Apply | Remove Your Press-Ons

To apply your press-ons, we suggest:

1. Make sure your hands|nails are completely dry and clean.

2. Gently push back your cuticles with the wooden stick

3. File your natural nails, then buff your nail bed to remove shine

4. Clean your nails with the alcohol prep pad

5. Apply 1 coat of primer to your natural nail & allow to dry. (This step is optional, yet beneficial as primer ensures there are no oils, etc on your nails - helping them to last longer.)

6. Apply 1 coat of nail glue to your natural nail & another coat to the back of your press-on. Apply the press-on to your natural nail and hold it for about 15 seconds

If you are using adhesive tabs, please follow steps 1-3 then peel the adhesive tab from the plastic sheet and place on your natural nail, then apply your press-on.​

To remove your press-ons, we suggest:

1. Fill up a bowl with lukewarm or hot water, hand soap & olive oil. (You can also use Cuticle, Argan, or Grapesee oil.)

2. TIP TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS:

Rub olive, or any oil of your choice, over your cuticles before starting the soaking process.

3. Soak your nails for about 15 to 20 mins - timing will vary

4. Use cuticle pusher to loosen the nail.

5. Gently remove your press-ons as they start loosen
